Chris Grobbelaar is the Founder and Owner of Labor Inbound LLC, a U.S.-based H-2A compliance and workforce solutions company serving agricultural employers. With firsthand experience on both sides of the H-2A program, Chris brings a rare, practical understanding of what it takes for farms and workers to succeed within a highly regulated system.

Originally from South Africa, Chris has lived in the United States since 2014 and has spent years working directly in agricultural operations and foreign labor programs before founding Labor Inbound. He leads the company’s overall strategy, compliance framework, employer advocacy, and operational standards, ensuring that every filing is accurate, defensible, and aligned with real-world farming needs.

While headquartered in North Dakota, Chris’s work is not geographically restricted. He actively supports employers across multiple states and regions, building scalable systems, trusted recruitment partnerships, and practical solutions that allow family farms and agricultural businesses to remain competitive and compliant.

Known for his straight-talking approach, strong principles, and relentless focus on doing things the right way, Chris approaches every client relationship with integrity, accountability, and a deep respect for the agricultural way of life.

  Employer Relations & Business Development 

Betsy Waldo serves as a Case Manager at Labor Inbound LLC, working directly with agricultural employers throughout the H-2A and H-2B filing process and during active contracts. She helps keep cases on track, questions answered, and compliance handled clearly and correctly from start to finish.

Betsy and her husband ranch and farm just south of Devils Lake, North Dakota, where they are raising their two children while managing the daily demands of an agricultural operation. Both are North Dakota natives who were raised in agriculture. Four years ago, they took over her husband’s family operation, and Betsy stepped away from her own business to help manage and grow the ranch.

Through this experience, Betsy understands firsthand the challenges farmers face when it comes to finding good, reliable help—especially in a highly regulated labor environment where timing and compliance matter. Her approach is relationship-driven and practical, focused on understanding each operation and supporting employers with steady communication and attention to detail.

Betsy works closely with farmers throughout the filing season and beyond, serving as a consistent point of contact and helping ensure each case moves forward smoothly. Her goal is to connect employers with skilled, trustworthy workers while supporting the long-term success of the operation..

Helen Borcherds is an experienced professional in the H-2A industry, with several years of hands-on expertise supporting agricultural employers through the program. Based in Waynesville, North Carolina, she was born and raised in South Africa and has called the United States home for the past 27 years.

Helen manages and runs Labor Inbound’s Southern operations, overseeing employer support, filings, and compliance across the region. While she leads the Southern division, her work is not geographically restricted, and she actively supports clients wherever her expertise is needed.

Known for her attention to detail, efficiency, and strong work ethic, Helen approaches every client relationship with integrity, compassion, and a genuine commitment to delivering the highest level of service.
